Straight seam welded pipe is a type of pipe made by welding hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel plates or strips onto welding equipment, and is called a straight seam welded pipe. (Named after the straight line formed by the welding of steel pipes).
According to different purposes, there are different post production processes, which can be roughly divided into several types such as scaffolding pipes, fluid pipes, wire conduits, support pipes, guardrail pipes, etc. The standard for straight seam welded pipes GB/T3091-2008, and low-pressure fluid welded pipes are a type of straight seam welded pipe. Generally, water and gas are transported, and after welding, an additional water pressure test is carried out. Currently, the price of low-pressure fluid pipes is slightly higher than that of ordinary straight seam welded pipes (about 80 yuan higher than the current market price). For example, a welded steel pipe fluid pipe with a diameter of 1 inch (DN25) is approximately 4300 yuan per ton, while the price of ordinary straight seam welded pipes is around 4200 yuan.
Straight seam steel pipes are mainly used in water engineering, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, power industry, agricultural irrigation, and urban construction in China.

Used for gas transportation: coal gas, steam, liquefied petroleum gas.
