This device is simply a hand that "grasps" the "cutting medium" and controls the direction of cutting. Its working principle is: first, a program is written, and the program is input into the control system of the CNC cutting machine. The control system sends forward, backward, left, and right commands to the drive system of the machine tool, and the drive system controls the forward and reverse rotation and speed of the motor to drive the action of the machine tool, thereby achieving control of the cutting gun. Numerical control cutting machines are generally equipped with cutting media such as flame cutting torches, plasma cutting torches, laser heads, water knives, etc. Therefore, there are numerical control plasma cutting machines, numerical control flame cutting machines, numerical control laser cutting machines (referred to as laser cutting machines), numerical control water jet cutting machines (referred to as water knives), and so on.

According to the size of the plasma power supply configured, the cutting thickness range is generally within 0.5-100mm. A very small number of imported high-power plasma power supplies can cut to 100mm or more, but generally not much more. The investment cost of this equipment varies depending on the power, brand, etc. of the plasma cutting machine, and the price is not the same. The usage cost is relatively high, and basically any conductive material can be cut.
CNC flame cutting machine: ordinary cutting torch 6-180mm (up to 250mm maximum), dedicated cutting torch generally does not exceed 300mm, of course, it can also be customized to be larger, but most manufacturers do not use it. The equipment has the lowest investment cost and low usage cost, but the range of materials cut is relatively small.
